I believe that the main job of a stills photographer is to be invisible, in order to capture raw moments on set. Whether that be quietly capturing an emotional character shot, Or snapping a tense or comical moment between takes of the crew at work. As a fellow actor, I am no stranger to a set, I know to not be an obstacle for the cast and crew. I am aware of the distance an actor needs when finding their emotional gravity. Of all the avenues my business offers, this is by far my favourite. Sets to me feel like a magical little camp where everyone forms a temporary home. And I get to capture all the special moments.
